Author’s Thoughts

Overall this was quite the lackluster week as shown by the number of movie highlights we spotlighted. The 2nd and 4th weeks really live and die by S1’s output, and we are really seeing the effects of this transition period where they lost so many of their busty stars like Shino Mayu and Gojo Ren, and now with Minamisawa Umika out the door as well. And so far their new debuts to replace them haven’t exactly made a strong impression on me, with a couple exceptions.

Next week looks much more exciting with quite a few works that I am looking forward to, but I feel they could end up great or disappointing. Fingers crossed.
